processing notice
The controller of your personal data is AETHERO s.r.o., company ID 05288762, registered at Kurzova 2222/16, 155 00 Prague 5, Czech Republic. Contact: info@aethero.cz.
We process data you provide to us yourself and, with your consent, data collected through cookies - always only for the purposes described below.
What data we process and why
Enquiries and contact forms - when you contact us, we process your name, e-mail, phone number and the content of your message in order to handle your enquiry (the legal basis is pre-contractual negotiation). We keep the data for the duration of the negotiation and for 3 years afterwards.
Shoptet → Shopify converter - your product data file is processed directly in your browser. We store the generated CSV on secure storage only so that we can give you a download link - it is deleted automatically after 7 days. The e-mail address you enter in the form is used to send you the download link and, based on your consent, to send occasional news about e-commerce and Shopify. You can withdraw your consent at any time - via the unsubscribe link in every e-mail or by writing to info@aethero.cz. We keep the e-mail until consent is withdrawn.
Operational data - using the website and our tools creates technical records (IP address, request time). We use them solely to secure and operate our services (legitimate interest) and keep them only for a short time.
Who we share data with
We never sell your data, nor pass it on for third-party marketing. We only use vetted suppliers with whom we have data processing agreements in place, in the following categories:
- hosting and content delivery providers (running the website and its tools),
- temporary file storage providers (the converter download link),
- e-mail and communication service providers,
- newsletter delivery providers,
- analytics and advertising providers (Google) - only if you consent in the cookie bar.
Some of them may process data outside the European Union. In that case the transfer is always covered by appropriate safeguards under the GDPR - standard contractual clauses or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Cookies
We group cookies into three categories. Analytics and marketing cookies are stored only after you give us your consent in the cookie bar. Until then no tool that stores cookies is loaded and no data is passed to Google. You can consent to each category separately via the Customize button.
Necessary - keep the website running, e.g. remember your choice in the cookie bar. They are stored without consent because the site would not work without them.
Analytics - Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland
Limited). We learn which pages are useful, where visitors come from and
what to fix on the site. It stores the _ga and
_ga_* cookies for 2 years. We keep data in Google
Analytics for at most 14 months and do not link it to your
identity.
Marketing - Google Ads (Google Ireland Limited). We
measure whether an ad led to an enquiry and may later show our ads to
website visitors on other sites and on Google (remarketing). It stores
the _gcl_au cookie for 90 days; Google may also store
its own cookies on its domains as part of its services. Google uses data
for ad personalisation in line with its
advertising policies.
The legal basis for analytics and marketing cookies is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 89(3) of the Czech Electronic Communications Act). Google may process data in the USA; the transfer is covered by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
Regardless of consent, we measure traffic with Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless tool. It stores nothing on your device, does not track you across websites and cannot identify you - from the browser it collects only technical data about the page load: which page you opened, where you came from, the device type and how fast the page loaded. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running and improving the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the Cookie settings link in the website footer. After you withdraw consent we delete the cookies of that category and the tool stops loading. The Shoptet → Shopify converter stores no cookies of its own.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object. You can withdraw any consent at any time. You may lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (www.uoou.gov.cz). To exercise your rights write to info@aethero.cz - we will reply within 30 days at the latest.
This notice is effective from 24 September 2026.
