processing notice

The controller of your personal data is AETHERO s.r.o., company ID 05288762, registered at Kurzova 2222/16, 155 00 Prague 5, Czech Republic. Contact: info@aethero.cz.

We only process data you provide to us yourself, and only for the purposes described below.

What data we process and why

Enquiries and contact forms - when you contact us, we process your name, e-mail, phone number and the content of your message in order to handle your enquiry (the legal basis is pre-contractual negotiation). We keep the data for the duration of the negotiation and for 3 years afterwards.

Shoptet → Shopify converter - your product data file is processed directly in your browser. We store the generated CSV on secure storage only so that we can give you a download link - it is deleted automatically after 7 days. The e-mail address you enter in the form is used to send you the download link and, based on your consent, to send occasional news about e-commerce and Shopify. You can withdraw your consent at any time - via the unsubscribe link in every e-mail or by writing to info@aethero.cz. We keep the e-mail until consent is withdrawn.

Operational data - using the website and our tools creates technical records (IP address, request time). We use them solely to secure and operate our services (legitimate interest) and keep them only for a short time.

Who we share data with

We never sell your data, nor pass it on for third-party marketing. We only use vetted suppliers with whom we have data processing agreements in place, in the following categories:

  • hosting and content delivery providers (running the website and its tools),
  • temporary file storage providers (the converter download link),
  • e-mail and communication service providers,
  • newsletter delivery providers.

Some of them may process data outside the European Union. In that case the transfer is always covered by appropriate safeguards under the GDPR - standard contractual clauses or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Cookies

Technical cookies necessary for running the website are stored without consent - the site would not work without them. Analytics cookies are stored only after you give us your consent in the cookie bar; until then no measurement tool is loaded at all.

We use analytics only to learn which pages are useful and what to fix on the site. We do not link the data to your identity and we do not use it for advertising.

You can change your choice at any time via the Cookie settings link in the website footer. The Shoptet → Shopify converter stores no cookies of its own.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object. You can withdraw any consent at any time. You may lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (www.uoou.gov.cz). To exercise your rights write to info@aethero.cz - we will reply within 30 days at the latest.

This notice is effective from 1 January 2026.
